How it started
Lucky Muffin was inspired by two very different dogs.
Lucky, a bold and food-obsessed Frenchie, often settles nearby while we work — then the moment we sit down, she's right there with us.
Muffin, a gentle and observant Maltipoo, follows life as it happens, from the kitchen to the living room to the door.
Living with both of them made something obvious: dogs experience the home differently than we do. They move through rooms, follow activity, and respond to what they can see, access, and understand in their environment.
Many of the small frictions of daily life with dogs don't come from the dogs themselves, but from spaces that were never designed with them in mind.
We started Lucky Muffin because living with dogs deserved better. Not more control. Better spaces.

Lucky
The bold, stubborn, snack-obsessed explorer
Lucky is fearless, food-obsessed, and hilariously dramatic — she'll roar like a baby when she's left behind, denied a snack, or locked out of a room she's decided is hers. She's not into cuddles, but she shows her love by pressing herself right up against you the moment you sit down. She lights up around strangers and lives for car rides.

Meet Muffin
Muffin
The sweet, shy, ball-chasing cuddlebug
Muffin is soft and sweet with her family, but shy with strangers and other dogs. She loves kisses and cuddles, and always keeps an alert eye on the neighborhood — barking at every passing pup. Her favorite game is chasing balls (or geese) across the yard, where she turns into a blur of joy. Calm at home, but fierce on the field. Muffin's loyalty and gentleness make every day brighter.
